Did you know that eight states have bills that have recognized in perpetuity Fred Korematsu Day of Civil Liberties & The Constitution? Another six states have issued proclamations and individual cities, like Austin have, or will recognize Fred Korematsu's fight for civil liberties and equal protection under the U.S. Constitution.

Austin City Council will present a proclamation for Fred Korematsu Day of Civil Liberties & the Constitution at the February 1st City Council meeting to be received by Dr. Karen Korematsu. The meeting will be live-streamed. Learn more from the Fred T. Korematsu Institute.
