PROJECT BLACKBIRD Screening and Event

Addressing stigma and shame surrounding mental health and eating disorders in underrepresented communities.

Join us for our two back-to-back events at the AT&T hotel and conference center, Austin, TX!

  • Event 1: doors 5:30, event start 6pm

  • Event 2: doors 7:30, event start 8pm

PROJECT BLACKBIRD, a non-profit 501(c)(3) touring film event in partnership with NAMI and Maybelline, aims to de-stigmatize eating disorder and mental health conversation within underrepresented communities, and to connect audiences of all communities.

PROJECT BLACKBIRD is screening the Oscar-Qualifying Award-winning film Blackbird on January 30th for UT Austin and surrounding colleges for a free screening and event!

Following the film screening there with be a panel talk-back with the original cast, and celebrity guest speaker.

There will be audience engaging activities, a resource fair, and giveaways related to mental wellness!
